Letting Go
My client and I were in her guess bedroom the other day, deciding what to keep and not keep in the space. We came upon two hand made figurines that were made by a daughter and law that had passed away. When I asked my client if these items brought her joy, her response was that it actually made her really sad. She could not let go of the memory of these hand crafted figurines. So she kept these figurines out of guilt and sadness. Do you ever feel like you can’t let go of something because someone in your life gave it to you? Do you feel guilty especially if that person passed away?

Well look at it like this. You only have one life. Don’t surround yourself with people or things that make you sad. You deserve better than that. Only surround yourself with people and things that bring you joy and love. Let go of stuff that is no longer truly important to you and doesn’t give you happiness in your life. Letting go of things that make you sad frees up space and energy for bigger and better things!

Respecting Your Collection
I love how George Ulm, organized his radio collection. There is nothing wrong with collecting, unless it is cluttering up your space. Do your collections justice by organizing them in a way that supports your hobby and gives you more inspiration. Displaying them like George did is an awesome example..over and out!

Organizing MacGyver Style
Today’s Organizing MacGyver Style concept concerns address books. Make a home for all of your online passwords and usernames in an inexpensive address book. It already has alphabetized tabs for you, just enter your password and username under the first letter that the website title falls under. For instance, for my Master Organizing email account, I would list my username and password under “Master Organizing” in the “M” tab. Easy peasy. Keep it near your computer for easy access or keep it in the safe.
